Telluride Bluegrass Festival
I just returned from a week back on Colorado, 4 glorious days of great weather, great people, and excellent music followed by a quick side trip to Sedona, AZ. One of these days I'll get around to sifting through and editing the hundreds of photos from this trip!

San Diego Rock n' Roll Marathon
I can't believe I actually did it. Of all my adventures, this was the most difficult 26.2 miles I have ever travelled. What an experience, though, and to top it off I raised $3000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! Check out my online training journal. Maybe now I can have a life again :-).

Devil's Postpile Overnight Snowshoe
We spent 2 nights exploring the area near Devil's Postpile National Monument, a rare sight in the wintertime. The weekend was bittersweet, and incredible adventure shadowed by the death of my best friend's dad and a nasty cold at the end.

Jaimi Begins Training for First Marathon
That's right, I'm running 26.2 miles with Team in Training and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help raise money to fight blood cancers worldwide. The San Diego Rock n' Roll Marathon is scheduled for June 2, 2007. Check out my online training journal.

Lake Tahoe/Eastern Sierras
I spent a week on a personal retreat exploring the areas around Lake Tahoe (an area I am absolutely in love with) and travelling south through the Eastern Sierras. Highlights of this trip are too many to list all, but include meeting George Lepp and Ralph Clevenger at Mono Lake and waking up to a foot of snow after hiking 7 miles into the backcountry. Many images of this trip will be featured in my up and coming 2007 Calendar.

Lake Tahoe - WOW
I had the pure pleasure of staying a few short days in North Lake Tahoe for a wedding. I am in love with this area and MUST return ASAP! Unfortunately there was little time for adventure, but we did enjoy a 9 mile hike on the west shore!

I just returned from a short but amazing first visit to the areas surrounding Mt. Shasta. The trip highlight featured a hike to the lower, middle, and upper falls of the McCloud River. Stay tuned for photos...

Jaimi Promoted to SB Fitness Magazine's Creative Director
I have accepted the challenge of improving the magazine's visual identity with a brand new layout. I will now be the sole graphic designer of the magazine, and plan to creative partnerships with local photographers to improve the image quality of the publication.

Brooks Institute Underwater Photography Show
This show was produced by mei and is now hanging at the Brooks Jefferson Campus in Santa Barbara, CA. The show will move to Chase Palm Park Center in January of 2005, sponsored by the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary.

Brooks Institute of Photography Graduation
I graduated magna cum laude from Brooks Institute of Photography with an emphasis in Advertisement. I was chosen as the class speaker, and was also recognized along with four other students with a Brooks Institute Departmental Award, being announced as "The Best of the Best". It was truly a fulfilling day!
